Luna Lovegood queues up

Four of us Bristow (one a budding Luna Lovegood) queued up today for about 5 hours.

BuddingLuna didn’t get the part, but it was worth it. Why? It was an experience not to be missed. Cold, tired, aching but interesting chats with queue-fellows, a comradery and a ‘why not try’ spirit lifted spirits more than cold wind could quell.

We heard rumours that “15,000 girls had been seen” (this was utterly wrong I’m sure though the number must have been high). The queue, like Disney, snaked back and forth and gave one both hope that the end was in sight and misery at the sight of another queue-coil stretching off in the ‘wrong’ direction.

If nothing else, we are all now fired with intrigue to see the Luna on the screen and discover who got the golden ticket.

Did you have a quality queue experience today?
